Managing Yugabyte support access

How to add or remove people from Yugabyte’s support issue tracker, so they can file and manage support tickets on GitLab’s behalf. Linked from the YugabyteDB Aeon runbook (§4.4 Yugabyte Support).

Yugabyte requires a specific request format. Open a ticket in the Yugabyte support portal with:

  • Category: Administration
  • Sub-category: Add/Remove user
  • Content:
Organization name: GitLab
Domains for mapping: gitlab.com
SLA and Contract Reference: SFDC account - GitLab
User Provisioning:
Alice Ashton <[email protected]> - Key User: yes
Bob Burger <[email protected]> - Key User: yes

Key User: yes means anyone who should be able to file and manage support tickets on GitLab’s behalf. List each person to add (or remove) with their name, GitLab email, and key-user flag.
